Should men shave their legs?
Honestly…. It’s all personal preference.
If you enjoy having leg hair then keep it.
I look at it like this…

Hairy legs are more or less, the body’s natural stockings… if your going to shave, it would make since to wear tights for the warmth.. and if you’re going to wear tights, you may as well shave… because trust me, matted down hair is not as comfortable under tights.
Nor is it attractive!

I can’t tell you if you should or shouldn’t, that’s all up to you.
I have been shaving my legs for almost as long as my legs have been growing hair… so if you’re wanting to shave your legs the best I could do is give you a few shaving tips.

The first thing you should do is trim the hair down with a pair of electric clippers. Trying to shave long hair could take longer, gunk up your razor, and instead of shaving the hair, you’ll be more likely to pull, or tear it out. Also causing a more painful experience and putting yourself at higher risk of cutting or tearing your skin…
Pre trimming all of that hair down before attempting to shave will make a thing a lot easier, and will help in smoother results.

Secondly, it’s important to heat the surface of your skin with warm water. This will open the skins pours and loosen the grip the skin has on the hair.
I recommend soaking in a tub of hot water, and relaxing some… let the legs soak… much like you might old a wet, hot washcloth over your face for a while before shaving.. apposed to dry shaving.

After soaking your legs in the hot water, lather and shave one leg at a time.
Break it down in sections, starting from the toes and work your way up to the knee. Shaving upwards against the hair, just as you should do when shaving your face… then finish from the knee up the thigh.
Breaking one leg down into two sections will help you make sure you’ve gotten it all. Trying to do the whole thing all at once might cause you to miss a few spots.

After shaving both legs, rinse clean with Cool water and dab dry with a towel, do not rub dry.
Then moisturize your legs with a perfume free lotion, or baby oil.. this will help prevent dry skin and razor burn.
Both could be painful, and damaging to the skin if not cared for properly.

You could be thinking that this could take forever. It is indeed a time consuming process that even most women hate doing… Not all women shave their legs. As I said in the beginning, it’s a personal preference.

I’ve heard people say many times, women are suppose to have smooth legs.. Really… they are “suppose to”?
Then why do we all grow hair there?
It’s a choice.
I leave it to you to make your own choices.
