There are hundreds of things you can do with your old pantyhose, and plenty of books, and “How To” guides to help.
1. A wreath for the holidays.
Cut a leg off of a pair of old pantyhose stuff it with, tie it in a loop, then decorate for any holiday or occasion!
As you can see, ideas are only limited to your imagination, so be creative and have fun.
Also use in the garden to help give your plants and vegetables added protection against insects and other animals. The soft stretchy material will allow your garden to breath and grow as it needs to, while still allowing in the sunlight!
Soap on a rope is a thing of the past… instead try soap in a stocking. This easy to do project is pretty self explanatory… cut the leg off and old pair of pantyhose and drop in a par of soap. I find this works best when you use the old peace of soap after it’s worn down from use, easily breaks onto peaces… collect those old peaces of soap in your pantyhose, and non of it will be waisted… a great way to be sure you get all your moneys worth! Best of all the pantyhose material acts as a washcloth so there’s no need for any additional luffas or washcloth to clutter your shower / tub!
Placing hosiery around the hose of your vacuum cleaner to prevent large objects such as screws, from getting sucked up and damaging the inside of your vacuum… also great if you are trying to retrieve something in those hard to reach places, like behind the couch, or down the sink.
You can also place an old pair of tights around a old shoe box to create a organizer for your home or office as seen in the example above.
As you can see there are plenty of things you can do with your old pantyhose, tights, leggings, stockings, etc… So please, don’t throw them away!
